Ok, so I was on Yahoo! Answers last night looking through questions to answer when I saw this. I wont name names, but someone wrote that they would prefer 10 other active QBs to win a Super Bowl for them than Peyton. They also said that they would prefer Eli over Peyton. Do you agree with that statement? If so, list the names of them.
Thank You

Peyton will go down as the greatest QB to have ever played the game when he retires. People say that Big Ben and Tom Brady are better because they’ve proven themselves by winning superbowl and that statement is stupid. I think winning superbowls is a major part in being great, but sometimes it’s hard to win with the hand you’re dealt. Tom Brady had a good defense to go along with a good offense, and now that the defense has gotten old and isn’t good anymore how good have he Patriots been? In Big Ben’s first superbowl he had the lowest QB rating for any starting QB to win the superbowl. Even though Big Ben drove Pittsburgh back last year to win the superbowl it was James Harrison’s interception that put Pittsburgh in the drivers seat. As bad as New Orleans defense was this year they were near the top of the league in creating turnovers and that makes up for so much. When Pittsburgh’s defense struggled last year the Steelers didn’t even make the playoffs and Big Ben played pretty good still. Peyton has never had a good defense to work with, and is always ranked near the bottom in overall defense, they’re weren’t creating turnovers either. Every WR he’s had to throw too he had to start as a rookie, with the exception of Marvin Harrison, but year in and year he makes the playoffs and wins divisions. When he gets ready to retire he’ll have almost every career record, he’s already been to 3 AFC championships, 2 superbowls, and has 1 superbowl championship. He would have accomplished everything a QB could have accomplished in a career so why no put him down as the best in the league when no QB playing will have the records to go with the accomplishments like Peyton has.
