Of course no, its just your preferance and you’re not putting any particular race down.

I read answers about how men "don’t bond as much as women" through sex. If I was a man, I’d be sickened by such a statement.

Despite different levels of hormones, I think men and women enjoy sex equally & bond equally. What do you think?

it has to do with the mind frame of the person. Its has nothing do with gender the person who wrote the article is unintelligent.

Are they the same thing? If a college asked for the admissions essay, do we also have to give in the Personal Statement?

A college personal statement is about you and your goals in college and for your life whereas an admissions essay can be many different topics. Here is some info that has tips and different topics for an admissions essay:

Most publically traded companies have mission statements that are published in their Annual Reports.

I need to make an IF statment.

IF the liscence increases by 20%, then work out the new cost. If it doesn’t work out the present cost.

I know how to do it so if it increases by 20% it says "Yes," but I how do I get it to show the new result.

I have been suffering from a major writer’s block and have no idea how to start my personal statement. I have to write 1 page as part of my college application. If I don’t mail it tomorrow it won’t get there in time, please help, how should it start? I don’t want to say "I was born in blahblahblah town in blahblahblah year" BORING! What should I write?????????????????????????????????????????? any ideas?

You are right, you dont want to start off with a cliche statement….try to make it creative. I am actually doing the same thing that you are doing right now lol. Still working on it. But usually colleges want to see how you are as a person (your personality, creativity, and how much potential you have to succeed at their school).

Think about what your major is going to be…and talk about that. Talk about what you have done in the past, what skills and abilities you have acquired and how you are going to use those in your major/in college. Talk about any jobs you have had or any extracurricular activities/volunteer work you have done. Evaluate those experiences and tell what you learned from them. Hope that helps!

it helps take off weight. but sometimes it can be a hassle so cover all those topics and then in your closing statement state why no matter what it is best or not best…

hi, im at first year college and wish to study economics at a levels; the subjects i am picking are maths, further maths, chemistry, physics and economics. i just want to know what would make my personal statement stand out when applying to a top 5 university; i.e. getting appropriate work experience or reading books about economics. what other things would you recommend which would help my PS look better? thanks

It will look good if you had some type of job or internship involving economics. Also having obtained A’s in several economics classes would be helpful./

We have researched our topic and have a pretty good understanding of it. we were just wondering what are some of the important must have points that should be found in the opening statement.

A good opening statement is one that captures the beliefs and the convictions of its author. I don’t believe you have to look very far to find a good argument for civil liberties. Perhaps the real question is, " What is a good opening statement opposing civil liberties?". But, one thing is for sure, a "good" opening statement probably won’t be the one you write. More likely than not it will come from someone that you will "borrow" it from. In short, do some research and do your own project.
