Does it violate your 1st Amendment rights?
Does Yahoo have the right to practice censorship?
It’s only happened to me once.
Apparently someone was offended at my OPINION on sacred cows and ground beef.
Regardless it is an act of censorship, and in America that is supposed to be illegal.
IAnswer fast…I bet they delete this one!
Where in The Constitution are businesses given this right?
Well. Thanks for clearing that up. Sometimes it’s hard to remember to think "internationally" .
It’s STILL F***ed up!
If you read the terms and conditions of use here at Yahoo, you will discover that you must follow the rules on the site. You in essesnce, concede your rights when you use Yahoo.
Is it an act of censorship? Perhaps. But you may forget that due to the internet and global hosting, there are more rules than the US constitution at work here,
like ***** **** ****** ****
If you have read up on the Community Guidelines, profanity is strictly prohibited on this site. People as young as 13 (the minimum age to participate) be on here all the time and must be shielded from this garbage. This is not censorship.
i need to delete a question i asked about my personal statement.
how do i do this?
You can only delete questions that you asked, and you can only do that while they are still ‘open’. Once a question is in ‘voting’ or has been resolved via a Best Answer being chosen, the question belongs to Y!A and is in their database forever (or until they start archiving old Q&As anyway).
You can also email Yahoo Customer services at y_answers_team@yahoo.com or y_answrs_team@yahoo.com and ask for them to delete the question for you. In your email include the link to the question you want deleted, explain why you want it deleted and ask them to delete it for you
To delete your question while it’s still open, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click on Delete Question.

" We regret to announce the Question has been deleted. At the time, 335 replies were made. An official count after 210 replies gave Babyboy a lead 102-90 (with 8 spoilt votes). However, since 125 potential votes were not counted, His Majesty is unwilling to declare a winner.
The King had summoned the PM and the Cabinet to the Palace, to seek their advice on how to break the impasse. After careful deliberations, HM’s Government has advised the following method to choose the winner:
Both contestants will be assigned to the teams that will contest the 2007 FA Community Shield. The contestant whose team wins, will be declared the winner.
The Palace invites the 2 contestants to immediately contact the Palace, in regards to their choice of teams before 12noon GMT, today, on a ‘first come, first served basis’.
If no choice is made after the deadline, HM will invoke the Royal Prerogative and assign the the contestants, one of Chelsea or Man United."
Lord Smith,
The Lord Chamberlain
Further Statement From The Lord Chamberlain:
His Majesty unfortunately has other matters of State to deal with on Sundays, as such, he is unable to wait until noon. Accordingly, he has invoked the Royal Prerogative and assigned the 2 Finalists the following teams.
1. Touzours - Chelsea
2. Babyboy - Manchester United
In the event the Shield is shared, the contestants will be declared Joint Winners.
Given under His Majesty’s hand and Seal, this 5th Day of August, in the 2007th year of Our Lord.
To His Majesty King Edward IX:
We regret to acknowledge that such an atrocity has occurred in your very palace. May we suggest that the perpetrator, once found, be punished with utmost severity as you deem fit.
However, we must say that the decision you have made, to declare the winner on the basis of the 2007 FA Community Shield match, is the best alternative for the interests of fair play.
May the best team (and user) win.
You should be more concerned about abuse and discrimination, not deleting questions that are innocent and not offensive.
It’s good they don’t allow kids under 13 - the age limit should be 18 because of all the XXX content here. I have never seen so much abuse in one spot. Someone made the statement of raping a child and liking it….but my questions get deleted?
I noticed that too, some people post repeat questions that are purposely racist, sexist or out right offensive and every day they are on here posting away, and Ive seen questions that are thought provoking and honest and they are gone as soon as they are posted because people are morons
