Can someone interpret this statement for me?

"If I knew where I had been all this time I’d tell you, but holy shit I just found my way back and I can’t believe how good it feels. Break is off to a great start."
What is this statement saying? (he just went home for break yesterday is the context). Is it directed towards one person or many people? I ask because I recently "broke up" with this guy yesterday and to me it seems like it’s directed towards one person, a girl. Maybe I’m just being paranoid though.

Seems hes happy about Break starting.. but the first part seems like when he says "I dont knwow here ive been all this time" means he may be saying hes sdecond-guessing his time with you, he needs a reason to get back together with you??
