    Dear sbuulo ,

Thank you for finding my mistake!! However, tuan1765 found this mistake about 4 months ago. If you watch the Video Response that I posted I addressed this mistake.

Man, it would be great if we could add deductions from our bank accounts!! With all the Debt Trouble in America, it seems like that is what we dumb debt-ridden Americans have been doing for the last 20 years!!!

Keep watching and please keep me on my toes!!

I though withdraw meant (-) subtracting from the us$500 (500-20) and deposit should have been (+) (480-50), let me know if i misunderstood you, I live in UK so maybe in America you do things this way IN YOUR BOOK REGISTERS, either way you are doing great job, and this was simple mistake, and I am thankful with your free classes. I have learnt allot your excel formulas.

    Dear lennydw67,

    Yes, but…
It will be at least a week. I have about 20 other videos already in the works. Also, when I post a video about Solver, because I only know a little bit about linear algebra and a little bit about Solver, it will not be as comprehensive as some of the other videos that I post. Nevertheless, I have a few tricks for Solver too…

    2) YouTubers Love Excel 2007 #4: Count Unique Records

Let me know if these answer your question.

For future questions, explain question & problem completely and send me a workbook example by e-mail. That way I can get my answer exactly right!

    Hi, thanks so much …
Hi, thanks so much for the videos, they proved to be quite helpful. I tend to work with tabs in workbooks and it would be quite helpful if you could show me how to sum particular items in different tabs to save time, also say in a row there are names of companies or so, and they repeat, how could you count how many companies are there to avoid counting the same ones several times.
    Thanks a lot

    Dear tuan1765,

    Dear tuan1765,
Thanks pointing that out! Yes, I wish that every time I withdrew money from my bank I could have my balance go up! Hey the correct formula for calculating the checkbook balance in cell G18 is =IF(D18=”",”",G17-E18+F18). Then you copy that down. The balance calculation is always: (Balance from above) - Withdrawals + Deposits. I guess when I get going on the video sometimes I can’t see my own mistakes.
Hey, send me Excel questions - I’ll make videos to answer!
    -Mike Gel
