Rihanna has released a statement:
At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to ure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.

Harvey Levin of TMZ outlined the injuries shown in the picture, quoting:
Two huge contusions on either side of her face; swelling, brusing, a busted lip, a bloody nose, bite marks on several of her fingers and her arms. She said Chris Brown struck her with his fists. Reportedly Chris Brown has had some training in tae kwan do.
