ok i have posted this link in response to a couple other questions of this nature. http://adam-lambert.org/power-texting-with-att/
it is an adam lambert fan site that tells how to power text and encourages fans to use this technique. i have also read several posts where people who say they are adam lambert fans and used power texting all season long.
dialidol results are not always right. and they only measure the busy signal every so often. they have been wrong in the past. and just because they had the results close doesn’t mean that was actually the case.
so yes kris allen is the american idol fair and square. he deserved it.

If it was Adam who won and this same thing occurred, all the Bible thumpers would be outraged and protesting somewhere.
Of course they are going to say it was fair and square, what else can they say, they’d be up to their ears in who knows what kind of backlash!!
If a politician was elected this way, Fox news, CNN, etc. would have a field day with this. It would be so illegal it wouldn’t be funny!!
Doesn’t make a difference now anyway. Kris won, he’ll get the key from the Arkansas mayor to the men’s room at the county fair, and Adam will be touring with legendary rock band Queen, then relaxing in his million dollar home, while Kris kicks himself in the behind for having to have to record that Stupid song Kara co wrote!!! Present time, Kris has about 12.5 minutes of fame left, about a month, Kris who??? So I’m glad for Adam, he’ll go on to Super Stardom, what he rightfully deserves!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course Fox is going to say that! You know, I feel badly for Kris if he didn’t know about any of this going on, because it makes people doubt that he won, perhaps unfairly. I followed the links from Perez’s website, and there was a link, (which I couldn’t get to, unfortunately) which said that he won by a "healthy margin." This was according to Access Hollywood. Not according to dialidol, which is a site that likes to brag about it’s voting prediction accuracy. They had predicted that Adam was going to win because the spread between them was so close (a little over 1%) that he (the one who runs the site) only called it for Adam because he was pressed to make a prediction. Now if Access Hollywood want to call that a healthy margin, they are free to do so. But if dialidol was so close (they measure the busy signal), then it stands to reason the texting must have tilted the results.
Also, another thought that someone else on another blog mentioned and I thought it was a good point. If American Idol has a rule against power texting and power dialing, and has said that it would remove such votes if they detected them, then why would AT&T, a corporate sponsor, have anyone going to a viewing party and deliberately violate that rule by showing them how to power text?
How isolated was this incident?
Will we ever know?

This is all a bunch of bull.
Kris won fair and square, and people need to leave it.
Im sick of Adam fans complaining trying to think of a way that Adam could of won.
Look, if Kris lost, i would be pissed too, but im not gunna go around and take a fit about it!
Kris won, because of his support and voters. Get over it, Adam lost.
Kris is my American Idol, and everyone else’s.

I’ve read about fox’s statement a few places but Perez Hilton rarely makes any sense if you ask me.
Where did at&t get the right to sponsor any contestant at any party anyway.. and why would so many people be protesting fox if the whole thing is false? Jmo but that seems pretty unlikely. they’re also not counting the speed-dialing software used unfairly by his fans at the website, nor all the ho-hum casual voters who dialed in a few times just to vote against Adam…..*Sigh*
no matter the scandals nothing is going to be done about it, and Kris Allen will still be the winner. good for him… but if you look outside the box he didn’t win ‘fair and square’, no way. fox’s just trying to save its skin.

No, Kris did not win fair and square. Look at every message board anywhere and you will see how much love Adam did have. It was rigged and needs to be recounted. If it weren’t for the super texts noone would have won. Besides, AT&T had to supply the texts and power because as we all know, Someone had to teach the people in Arkansas had to use a tricky thing called a phone.
